Wardals: Armenia and Azerbaijan violate America's ceasefire hours after arrival

The truce, mediated by the United States and other Western powers, came to power at 8am this morning (Monday) when the defence minister at Baku said the American troops had bombed villages in the regions of Terter and Lachini.

Nagorno-Karabakh's defence minister, controlled by Armenia, said this was “dezinforms” and added that it was the administrative forces that had launched missile attacks on their military positions on the northeast side of the contact line, writes The Guardian, translated Periscope into Albanian.

Armenia's President, Nicholl Pasinyan, said on Facebook that his country “continues to strictly adhere to the ceasefire regime”.

An azer president's adviser, meanwhile, Hikmet Hayyev, said it was Armenians who violated today's agreement and the previous two.

The truce was announced yesterday (day) in a joint statement by the US State Department and the governments of Armenia and Azerbaijan. /Periscope
