21 new walk trails extending over 200km have been mapped and marked on both sides of Mount Sharr in Kosovo and northern Macedonia. In addition, a number of promotional materials such as video, brochures and a website have been developed in order to promote Mount Sharr as a unique destination for travel and mountain tourism.
Visitors now have another reason to enjoy the cultural and natural beauty of Mount Sharr.
Work was implemented in partnership by nongovernmental organisations A The LKA and the Balkans from Northern Macedonia and non-governmental organisations Marimangat and Sharri from Kosovo. The project was implemented as part of the Kosovo-North Macedonia Interborder Co-operation Programme funded by the European Union.
