The new record of cases with COVIED-19, the director of Infectia, tells of the situation at this clinic

Infectious Clinic Director Lindita Ayzaj Berisha has shown in more detail how the situation is being managed in this clinic.

“At the Infectious Clinic, as the number of cases that have resulted positive have increased, there is an increase in the number of cases of patients who seek medical assistance and who need hospitals. The number of cases is 90 to 100. At times, other occasions are also accepted during the day. It usually behaves about 10 cases during the 24 hours that are admitted to the Infectious Clinic. Fifty to 60 %s of them are with oxygen therapy”, she said.

Berisha said health staff has been overloaded, as now eight months, is being taken and has done a permanent job with patients infected with COVID-19.

The number of cases coming for ambulance visits and needing testing has increased, and of these 5-6 days, we have between 130 and 170 cases, visited at the Infectious Clinic. This has caused an overload of the Infectious Clinic, especially with cases that are constantly coming to clinics and seeking medical help”.
