Earlier, Coach Solsquier had no excuse for his slow defense: That was the worst we could get. It's a terrible feeling, the worst day I've had as Manchester United coach and player. We can't accept performances like this. I raise my hands up, I'm responsible for this”
Striker Rasford went to social networks to express regret at the club's global fans. He underlined that it was important to react quickly, following such demoralizing losses for the club: “First and foremost, I'm a United fan. This is my club. I'm so proud to wear this fan, but there's no excuse. We just didn't do anything right in this fight, grieving every fan in the world. That's why I'm so sorry. You deserve a lot better than that. I would have stayed away from social networks tonight, but you deserve my account for which I don't hide. It was a terrible day, but I promise you we'll do better”
