The famous plan B, as reports “Crriere dello Sport”, will allow the championship to be closed in just eight weeks, provided at least the first phase is played so that all teams have the same number of matches and have at least faced each opponent.
At this point, the top 12 teams are divided into two groups, with six teams playing for the match-up in and out, in the style of the Champions Group phase. The first two qualify in the semifinals of the championship, which will be played by single matches.
The eight teams listed below, all involved in one group, would fight for survival.
