In March, Saudi authorities banned the entry and prayer at Masjid al-Haram in Mecca and the Prophet's Mosque in Medina.
Earlier this month, Saudi Arabia resumed allowing citizens and residents to carry out Umren at the most holy sites of Islam, Mecca and Medina, after a seven-month pause due to the Coronobriatrius' concerns.
Since October 4th, pilgrimages have been allowed to Saudi citizens and Muslims living there.
Foreign Muslims were reportedly able to perform religious rituals in early November until mosques in Mecca and Medina are opened at full capacity.
