LDK MP Faton Bislimi has said that EU emissary's visit to Kosovo, Miroslav Lajcak, is the result of US engagement regarding the finalisation of the Kosovo-Serbia agreement.
“The Association Status should be based on the laws and Constitution of Kosovo. There is nothing wrong with Serbian municipalities having an association based entirely on Kosovo laws. The draft of the statue was suspended at the moment when the Constitution issued its ruling on the agreement, where some points were contrary to the Constitutional spirit”, Bislimi said.
He also cited the letter published by former Prime Minister Isa Mustafa.
And we have a letter published today in August 2015 by Moghrin, in which the agreement on Association is said to be in accordance with Kosovo's laws and Constitution and, of course, to have executive competencies. We have repeatedly said that, said former Prime Minister Isa Mustafa. The opposition has not yet accepted it, and made such rude gestures in the Assembly. So, Kosovo no longer has anything more to do with establishing association according to Kosovo laws”, the LDK deputy has said.
