Kadare honoured with the international award, Neurostat for literature

The American Embassy in Tirana announced on Monday that prominent Albanian writer Ismail Kadare will be honoured with the Neustad International Prize for Literature.

The Neustad Literature Festival is considered one of the biggest events of world literature and is a celebration of international books and culture, sponsored by World Literature Today and organised by Oklahoma University.

This year, the Embassy suggests that the event will take place virtually and will be free of charge for all those registered.
