The Israeli Institute for Biological Research (IIBR) began testing animals for its “Brife” in March.

The Ministry of Health and a supervisory commission have now given the green light to take it to the next phase.

Eighty volunteers between the ages of 18 and 55 will be monitored for three weeks to see if the virus's antibodies are developed, the ministry said in a statement.

A second phase, expected to begin in December, will include 960 people over the age of 18.

If they succeed, a third large-scale phase of 30,000 volunteers is scheduled for April/May 2021. If successful, the vaccine may be approved for mass use.

Israel, with a population of 9 million, has begun facilitating a second impasse throughout the region of the Coronobrus after a steady decline in the scale of daily infections. The country had 692 new cases on Saturday, ranging from a peak of more than 9,000 weeks ago.

So far, 2,372 people have lost their lives in Israel from the Corleone pandemic.
