Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti has said the dialogue in Brussels will only be sent forward under the Kosovo Constitution, while ensuring they will not go there with 10 men.
Hoti made these comments at the hearing where he was reporting for 100 days of his government.
He responded to PDK deputy Bedri Hamza, who said that in the dialogue with Serbia the course should be changed, where it should go for final agreements, as any other meeting has the potential for compromise and compromises can be painful.
Our request is to go into dialogue for final agreements, mutual recognition, seating in the organisation of the united nations and paving the way for Euro-Atlantic integration“, he said.
Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti has provided some clarifications for the dialogue.
He said they would only dialogue under the Constitution.
There are 100 times, every time we talk about dialogue, I'm going to tell you that we're going to send this process forward according to the Constitution alone, we're not going with 10 men in Brussels, nor are we going to make anti-unconstitutional laws for dialogue. Learn about this approach, this is our approach to this government, there is no other“, he said.
Hoti also stopped at the law on economic recovery, which has not now passed six times in the Assembly, reaffirming that they are ready as a government coalition, to sit down together with the PDK, and during two readings to him included all issues that this political subject has proposed.
“I believe that this issue will be closed on Monday, but I'm still telling you, taking it as prime minister that we are still willing Monday when it is voted, during two readings, we will sit down together and fully integrate your bill into this recovery bill, do our best, and other proposals that can come from Vetevendosje“, he said.
Hamza said the second economic package, besides having no substance, is delayed and is not being approved in the Assembly.
“Businesses have been left without support, workers in the private sector are in danger of receiving salaries, then in the next period, even the banking system and will bring difficulties. If only you had supported the proposal. The PDK, and hadn't been hampered by bureaucratic procedures, pensioners would have a different situation, war-free categories would have another situation, and businesses and workers in the private sector would have another“, Hamza said.
While MP Hamza said they only know that minor changes can be made in the second reading of each bill.
The debate over government work Hoti is still continuing in the Kosovo Assembly.
