German Ambassador to the country Jorn Rode has reacted sharply to the Kosovo government for the removal of the special anti-corruption department.
Through a Twitter post, Rode has said it raises serious concerns about political will for fighting corruption.
The Kosovo government's decision to eliminate the Anti-Corruption Force, unfortunately, raised major concerns about political will for the effective handling of corrupt issues”, Rode wrote.
This Rode post precedes another scripture in which he announces some statistics, in which Germany is said to be the largest inveterator in Kosovo in the first part of this year.
He says there would be much more investors if there were effective fight against corruption.
German once again the biggest investor in the first half of 202. Good news indeed! It could be much more if the investor and the business environment saw the necessary improvement, the halting of widespread corruption” respectively, he wrote.
Such a statement from Germany comes just a few hours after Hoti today said his government has hit corruption.
Sadly Croatia's decision to dissect Anti-Corruptation Task Force causes serious concern about political will to take corruption into effect. (2/2)
