Another federation adds to Kosovo sports. The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports has licensed the Federation for Kosovo's Kayakim, which is permitted for 2020-2021.
At an organised meeting in the MKRS, Deputy Minister Engelbert Zefaj has donated the license to the president of this federation, Wisar Emini.
In this case, Deputy Zefaj estimated that with the addition of this new federation, sports life is being enriched, the Olympic Committee is also being enriched with a new member, and an added opportunity for young people to engage in sports is increasing.
The deputy minister said that this type of sport is both extreme and only that there can be a competitive character can be used for tourism and promotion of our country.
He congratulated Chairman Emini on the formalisation of the federation and that the MKRS will be close to supporting him, as does other sports organisations.
Meanwhile, Chairman Amyn thanked Deputy Prime Minister Zefaj and other MKRS officials, who made it possible to license the federation he leads. He said that with this step, many athletes who train around this federation are allowed to officially compete and cultivate their talent for this water sport.
Emini announced Deputy Zefaj's plans and goals that this federation has and that it expects a co-operation and support of the MKRS in this direction.
