Commission members have decided next Wednesday to review and adopt eight amendments and the report on the bill.
However, the opposition was willing to discuss today and seek accounts from the finance minister for the recent dismissals in Dogan and ATK.
The chairman of the Commission for Buxhet and Finance, Hekuran Murati, has asked Hykmete Bajrami to report on the case of the ATK director's dismissal, but that most members disagreed, until they asked the minister to report to the next meeting.
Murati said that if there are doubts about legal violations in the ATK case, the commission should discuss.
The reason why I'm proposing it is because it involves claims that have very serious implications in Kosovo's financial system, so it's about, as it was said at the conference about 7 thousand and 200 businesses and a 3.5 billion tax evasion. It's large numbers, I don't know if they have the exact accuracy of”, Murati said.
While, Minister Bajrami was not ready today to report to this commission because of the busy agenda. She did not rule out the opportunity to report to one of the upcoming meetings, but not to claims.
And the claims of former ATK director, Prime Minister Bajrami said he must investigate the prosecution.
As far as the former director's claims are concerned, I think he should be invited, because the former director has been in charge for two years and has made it public only when he was fired. Meanwhile, before that time he was director of the debt collection department. So it bears a lot of responsibility. The statements are public, I have to take responsibility, so I have no information about them”, Bajrami said.
MP Mimoza Kusari Ella talking about dismissals, said former ATK director's claims constitute scandal for the country.
The former director is now referring to, in addition to the fact that he presents a major state-level scandal. It also presents content uncertainty”, she said.
LDK MP Fatmir Rexhepi said it is the Government's competence for the dismissals and appointments by the ATK Customs, so the Assembly cannot intervene and seek accounts because they have not been appointed by parliament.
We don't get out of here. A brief explanation when these are named did the Board Commission ask? No. You didn't ask, so if you asked the Board Commission which scripts should be placed there, you had this right that you're looking for. Therefore, these jobs do not go so”, Rexhepi said.
And MP Bedri Hamza from the PDK has said that it is difficult to give merit opinion on this issue without having more facts about what happened in ATK.
I respect the procedures when someone is respected and someone is named in the procedure, as well as someone is downloaded from a certain position. However, failure to comply with procedures without being restricted to recent dismissals could cost and cost the state even in financial terms”, Hamza said.
His proposal received the only support from Mimoza Kusari-Lila, who considered the case reasonable to be debated and addressed.
The commission decided at the next meeting to decide on the day of discussion on dismissals.
