Vetevendosje's latest coalition bid slams LDK leaders

It has been a week since the Vetevendosje Movement has submitted a new offer to LDK, likely the latest to clarify whether or not the coalition will happen. The same, it was sent with few changes to the LDK two days ago, however, by Isa Mustaf's party there has been no decision whether to accept it or not.

Details of what this proposal contains yesterday have been given through a Facebook text, the first deputy chairman of the Vetevendosje Movement, Besnik Bislimi. Among other things, extending the offer that increases the number of ministries in 14, he has criticised The LDK, which at last week's meeting, had said they would discuss it at the General Council, which is still declaring they are awaiting new LV bids.

We are told at the last meeting with the LDK team that our proposal for achieving the coalition agreement will be sent to the General Council of their political subject for assessment (admission or rejection). It is therefore meaningless to declare that we are awaiting new proposals on the part of Vetevendosje! Our proposal issued (as the fourth compromise within the same meeting) was written to President Mustafa last night. In drafting this proposal, Vetevendosje believes there has also been a huge compromise, since willingness to increase the number of ministries (from which the VV does not benefit) will only expose with public opinion dissatisfactions, which will rightly attack us for movement by promise before and after election to reduce the number of ministries to 12 sosh)”, Bislimi has declared.

But in LDK, the second man after Isa Mustaf, Agim Veliu has considered this LV proposal unrealistic and not seriously choosing the situation in which the two parties are currently located.

Shortly thereafter, when the details of the offer were made public, Veliu chose to comment on it as well on the social Facebook network.

The first deputy leader of the Democratic League also named it a non-serious effort the LDK's commitment, charging that they are seeking absolute power.

This is a VV attempt at absolute power and to subdue and humiliate the LDK, trying to overcome dignity. Even today's VV demands go even further, in their aim of the LDK being cut off from its European and Euro-Atlantic past. Which past do they want us to separate from? Maybe they want us to distance ourselves from logosism”, Veli said, saying this LV effort is failed and should not be helped by the LDK.

Just as Veliu does not think the LDK candidate for prime minister and vice president of this party, Vjosa Osmani.

She stood by the Vetevendosje Movement while she reminded her party, Agim Veliu in 2017, when, according to her, the coalition of hope was built.

Osman also mentioned the attempt to abolish the Special Court, saying LV had come to the side of the Democratic League.

“There was only one party that stood by the LDK's efforts that day: Vetevendosje Movement. That evening, for anyone who understands politics correctly, the coalition of hope has been built. On that day, the pro-Western and Euro-Atlantic orientation of our country has been confirmed. It was not done by the LDK itself, nor the LVV itself ... but did the LDK and LVV together, with the blessing of our international friends”, she says, while also mentioning some blockers of change, without mentioning names.

“The question that is being put on today for contestors, hinderers of change, at a time when Kosovo risks emptying and turning into a failed state, is exactly the same as the then American ambassador did in our offices in the late evening hours in the presence of LDK and LVV officials in v.2017: D FARE WISE TO YOU THE PARIT WHEN YOU WILL NOT EAR MEAN THE KOSOV?”, it is complete.

While the LDK and LV have yet to agree on the coalition, more than 100 days have already passed since the 6 October elections.

Vetevendosje has not yet submitted the proposal for the mandate, until on this subject, the presidency has announced that they will head for interpretation at the Constitutional Court.
