State head Hashim Thaci has remembered former President Ibrahim Rugova on the 14th anniversary of his death.
Thaci through a Facebook post has praised former President Rugova's contribution, saying that peaceful policy and friendship with the US and the West are permanent values of President Rugova's heritage, writes Periscope.

Thaci wrote that we honour the late president's contribution to the long and painful journey of our people towards freedom and independence.
“In the 14th anniversary of President Rugova's death, we honor his great contribution to the long and tiring journey of our people towards freedom and independence. Peaceful politics and friendship with the US and the West are the permanent value of President Rugova's” heritage, Thaci wrote.
