Thaci congratulates Croatia on taking over EU Council chairmanship next

I congratulate Croatia on taking over the rotating chairmanship of the EU Council. Zagreb is the Balkan voice in Brussels, so we welcome these next six months. Croatia's pledge to organise the Zagreb Summit between the EU and the Western Balkans is another opportunity to confirm the commitment of the entire region to join the European Union. Like Kosovo, we expect even more loud to be required to improve the injustice we are being given, not making the decision deserving of abolishing the visa regime. The relationship with the EU must be built on mutual trust and respect. This is Croatia's message for the EU in these months of Council chairmanship. HTH
