The 23-year-old has been discussed as a figure that can do well in “Old Traford”, especially if Pogba decides to leave.
City has also shown interest in approaching Winks in the upcoming summer term.
Fernandinho turns 35 in May, while David Silva has already confirmed that he will leave the club this summer.
That would be possible for the midfielder to find space in Pep Guudila formation.
