Numerous invitations arrived in Kosovo during 2019 by the Special Court, especially in the second half of the year, where these calls intensified.
Even some of the commanders of the Kosovo Liberation Army were invited, including Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj and former head of the Kosovo Assembly Kadri Wessel, once leader of the KLA.
O Chairman VL- The KLA, Hysni Gucati, in an interview for Kosovo Preress, says the year we leave behind, was full of challenges for them.
According to statements made by the guests, Gucati says many of them have been called witnesses, but there has also been a number who have received the invitation as suspects.
From the summer we leave next year, invitations to former KLA commanders, where, according to Gucatt, other wartime leaders are expected to be invited.
Saying that invitations are already being sent to a given address or authorized individuals, Gucati adds that the way they were sent to different locals previously shows the unprofessionalism of this court.
O Chairman VL-KLA says they do not rule out protests if arrests begin. However, it stresses that they do not have the support of MPs, since he says they are the ones who voted the court themselves.
The Special Court in The Hague was founded with the Kosovo Assembly decision in 2015.
By January 2019, the Specialised Prosecutor has interviewed former KLA participants, while the indictment is still out.
