“Even in 2020 we have clear targets. We have a comprehensive development plan. So we have the plan in detail for each unit of what duty and commitment is in terms of professional establishment, equipment, infrastructure and all other elements. I mean, our priorities will be based on the strategic objectives of the ministry and we are obliged to achieve those strategic goals based on our comprehensive plan. This year will be more focused on the treatment and professional development of all entities, taking into account the new mandate and mission. Doctrine and Training Command (TRADOK) will be our priority because we will build those training capacities that are necessary for the mission and the new mandate.
We will also have support from our partners, and I don't see any challenge”, Rama said.
“While in 2020 it is expected to reach those devices, because defence equipment is a little more specific and they have specific time procedures that take time to produce based on our demands. The important thing is that in 2019 we have met the needs and requirements based on budgetary opportunities. So, we have signed important contracts and the results will be seen this year”, KSF Commander Lieutenant General Nundman Rama declared.
He has stressed that already The KSF is much better prepared, trained and much better equipped.
Rama has added that another achievement they had in the following year was the recruiting of 700 young soldiers, where basic training was conducted. We have managed to get another 200 back from the reserve component to that active. So the KSF in 2019 closed it with 900 new soldiers”, Rama suggested.
