President: Tomorrow mourning in Kosovo, in honour of police Sami Thaqi

President Hashim Thaci, after falling to the helm of Kosovo Police member Sami Thaci's office, has declared Thursday's day of mourning as a sign of state honour.

In accordance with legislation in effect, on mourning day, announced to honour the life and work of police officer Sami Thaqi, the state flag is raised to half-point in all Kosovo state objects, both within and outside the country.

During the day, President Thaci has shared the Kosovo “Hero command” for police Sami Thaqi.

Sami, Enver, Izet and the dozens of police involved in the task is the pride of the Republic of Kosovo. Their sacrifice in defense of the rule and law obliges us to work even more for a quiet and stable Kosovo and a better place for all our citizens, the head of state has said.
