Orana Fortress, karate player aimed at participating in the “Tokyo 2020”

Next year these games are expected to be organised in Tokyo. Where many Kosovo athletes also aim to be present and fight for medals.

One of the athletes aiming to participate in these games is karate player Fort Orana, who is working hard to reach the rate and represent karate sport at this event.

The clock, summing up the following year, has talked about the successes achieved, as well as the achievement of the Olympic rate.

That year, in 2019, described it as a successful year for him and the karate sport, so it isolated some of the contests in which he participated by achieving favorable results.

“Viti 2019 has been a special year, I can say 2019. Mainly able to check, the competition that had isolated me and that has been a huge success for me has been the European Championship held in Madrid, Spain. That's where I was ranked fifth in Europe, and fate didn't want me to be decorated with medals even though I was very close, but fate wasn't on my side. It was a very strong race, a dream of me being part of a medalist, but the reference was not very fair for me, noting that with the Spanish racer I was winning 2.0, where I was eventually disqualified in remarks for no reason at all”, Orana said at first.

Orana and other athletes face many problems, mostly financially, by failing to participate in many international competitions because of the problem.

She stressed that in three evil premieres, she has not been able to participate because of this problem, and neither has the federation managed to help karate people to participate in these races.

We're facing many problems, given that we haven't followed three evil promises because of funding, so the federation couldn't make a choice. Neither does the federation have any sponsors for 2019, there were none, but now they're born and there's information trying to help the federation... In Madrid I was written by my financial means that I tried to find in the municipality of Gjilan. There shouldn't be this kind of trouble for a sportsman targeting a gold medal or a sportsman targeting the Olympics. I think they should look back at us, from karate sport, we have talent, we try hard with our work”, Orana said.

As for 2020, Orana said she intends to participate in the Olympic Games that this time are organised in the town of Tokyo, where, according to her opinion, karate sport has great potential and can easily win an Olympic medal that is the greatest success for any elite athlete.
