Meetings between Vetevendosje Movement leader Albin Kurti and that of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, ended without results over forming a new government.
The LDK rejected Vetevendosje's latest offer that in exchange for the parliamentary speaker's post, in which Glauk Konjufca was elected, the LDK would receive an additional ministry.
The head of the LDK parliamentary group, Avdullah Hoti, wrote on his Facebook account earlier that the solution was in Vetevendosje's hands, while today LDK leader Isa Mustafa repeated the same, after meeting with US Ambassador Philip Costnet.
The next meeting, the ninth between Kurt and Mustaf, is not planned, and is not yet known if it will take place, this remains to be seen.
“For now, there is no agenda for a meeting between Vetevendosje Movement leader Albin Kurti and LDK leader Isa Mustafa”, VVVA spokesman Arlind Manjuka said.
While Vetevendosje is awaiting a decision by LDK bodies for their latest bid.
However, Hoti believes the next meeting between Kurti and Mustaf could be held if Vetevendosje offers an acceptable agreement for LDK.
“We are interested in the meeting, but only the meeting for the sake of the agreement, not the meeting for the sake of the” meeting, Hoti said.
