20 years after the war, Kosovo police continue to work without health insurance and life insurance.
From the labour union of this institution, they say they are tired and frustrated by the ongoing promises, KTV reports.
Since Hashim Thaci was prime minister, and incumbent Ramush Haradinaj, at numerous meetings with unionists promised to create health insurance, saying it is a priority for their governance.
Aware of security issues criticised institutions that neglected the creation of health insurance, stressing that such a thing is necessary as soon as possible.
From the Fund of Subventions and Transfers, the Government of Kosovo has earmarked 150,000 euros for the police's family killed on Tuesday during a raid action in a case for narcotics in Zhur, and another 10 thousand for the two injured officers.
However, according to Avni Islam, this is not enough, as such should be regulated by law.
Meanwhile, in addition to the 70% pay pension, the incumbent Government has approved the decision on the separation of 300 euros in additional family retirement monthly for police in office.
