She remembered [...]
She recalled that government decisions, which went into effect on January 1st, increased revenues to about 70 percent of Finnish people.
“Since January, low-income pensioners will have more euros to live in. Pensions of more than 600,000 Finnishs will increase. 70 percent of Finnish people will enjoy higher available incomes. With the abolition of the activism model, unemployed job seekers will be able to focus on job research without having to worry about lost revenues. The power of society and state is not measured by the wealth of its richer members, but by how much the most affected are able to deal with challenges and problems”, Marin said.
She also stressed that it is very important for the state to ensure that every citizen lives with dignity and quality.
This is why we should always ask ourselves in our work if everyone in society has the opportunity to lead a life of dignity”, the 34-year-old prime minister said.
Marin, former Transport and Links Minister, has formed the new government, which includes 12 ministers and seven ministers.
