A couple in China left their two children at an airport after their son, who had a fever, was prevented from flying in the middle of a new deadly virus, according to Chinese media.

The news comes as the country is hit by a new type of coronavirus, which has killed at least 26 people.
His symptoms are usually fever, coughing, and breathing problems.
As a result, cities throughout China have strengthened health controls in transportation centers.

However, as later known, children were eventually allowed to board the local plane, local Yangzi Evening News reported.
The incident came to light when a blogger posted pictures of children on the Weibo platform, the Chinese equivalent to Twitter.

The blogger claimed that a couple were setting up a scene at Nanjing Lucou International Airport after one of their children was banned from flying because of fever.
One of the photos posted by the web user shows two children sitting in a waiting room without supervision.

Two more images show passengers waiting for the departure gate.
According to Nanjing News-based Yangzie Evening News, the incident occurred on Wednesday evening at the Nanjing Lucu International Airport, which serves Jiangsu's district capital.
