The Court of Appeals has completed some 5,000 more than in 2018 in 2019.

Court of Appeals President Hasan Shala, in an interview for Online Economics, said that despite this success, the Court has had about 13 thousand materials borne since 2018.

He says that the percentage is that in 2019 more than 100 percent of the matter was performed.

And we started out in 2019 with 13 thousand materials from 2018, and in 2019 we've reached approximately 16 thousand of them until we've done 17 thousand and 500 of them, which means we're very good with statistics because according to these statistics, I think there's been a really big deal of work because we've done an estimated 5,000 of them more than last year. On the percentage is always more than 100% of the content done in general, there are departments that we've made up of 150% and each percentage department is above 100%”, he said of Online Economy.

Shala has eased the need for increased number of judges due to increased number of subjects.

He said the number of judges has increased in the Constitutional Court until such a thing has not happened at the Court of Appeals.

We have 52 judges, also counting on Mitrovica Division judges while we need them and of course we need them because during 2018 they started over 100 judges in the Constitutional Courts until we have no increase or appointment of other judges or other judges because we have a great need. If the number of judges in the Constitutional Court increases, then by one percentage should also increase the number of judges at the Court of Appeals because this year we have a very large number of materials achieved because it has been worked out in the Constitutional Court and has increased the flow of cases with complaints to”, Shala told Online Economy.

While talking about the impasse in reviewing certain subjects, Shala said this happened in the civil division because of the lack of the number of judges.

And we can't call this a crawl, but we're stuck in the civil division, but these setbacks are justified by the lack of judges that it's a very large number of subjects and the number of judges to consider these complaints is small, and I often say that when we started in 2018 on January 1st, we started with 13 thousand subjects in 2013 that have been registered to us but those subjects have been older and most of those subjects have come from the District Court of Mitrovica and the District Court of Pristina that were non-involts and that were trouble.

He said that in 2019, the Court of Appeals has been able to complete the courses of March 2013, 2014, and that until 2015 they are at their end. Shala said they expect the courses of 2016 and 2017 by the end of January.

Shala said that 2020 they expect a subject not to wait more than 3 years.

The “Puna at the Court of Appeals is organized in the way that is worked in departments and that's where colleges are defined. The largest department in us that has materials most is the General Department, where we're dealing with the General Criminal Division, we're dealing with the civil division and the offense. As for the general criminal division, and for counterinsistance these substances are conducted on a very fast deadline and waits no more than 3 months, while a month or a half of the content is conducted”.

And we've got a very fast and reasonable deadline here and we don't expect more than 2-3 months, and the severe crimes to commit the classes are approximately 6 months and no subject is waiting, we've got a little bit stuck in the administrative affairs department, but there are few subjects there, and there are 500 subjects and there are 500 judges and there are 500 cases, and so they're 250 of them there, and I believe 2020 is in courses of 2018, and that's waiting for two years here is a standard in the region, he said.

The special department started work this year.

According to Shala, about 18 materials have once been reached in this department and 14 have remained unfinished.

There are six judges assigned to this, and 2-3 months we don't have specific courses for the special department, but the work is started and it's going well, and as far as I know, it's 17-18 subjects and it's 14 of them that's not finished because here too late, work has begun and 18 are done, and it's 4 until the regular classes have reached 17 and it's done 3 and it's also done 14 and all of them are in special work and very soon they'll be completed, and these judges who are appointed for the special department are young and they have a great experience in the $11th Court, Shal> said.
