Ymer: Minimum wage to increase, thus combat poverty and reduce inequality

At the next conference held today, the deputy chairman of PSD and AAK coalition MP candidate- PSD, Visar Ymer, unveiled the coalition's proposal for transition from the minimum wage to the salary for living.

Ymer said the minimum wage should be transformed into an instrument fighting poverty and increasing equality. With our proposal, the minimum wage will apply to all of Kosovo's employees at the same level, not as it is now, unfair”, Ymer adds.

In addition, he said that the methodology of determining the minimum wage should be adjusted to its purpose, and that the criterion of determining the minimum wage to be passed from consumer capacity to available household revenues.
