According to a recent study published in Business Insiver, some of the customs, which by much people, may be considered harmful in terms of their productivity level but are not at all.
Various Regimes
If you get up in the morning at 05 a.m., do your morning exercise, meditate, and you're at work at eight o'clock, it doesn't mean you're more productive than another colleague of yours who can start work at 10:00 or even later.
There are people who are most productive during the early hours of the morning, while others during dinner hours. Therefore, it is recommended that you work better during hours in which you are more productive than sitting in front of your computer without doing anything.
Do not empty your Inbox
Everyone has an access to their e-mails and everyone manages it the way you think it's the best way possible.
Yes, according to Laura Vanderkam, the author of several books on time management in the most productive way at work, not necessarily email should be emptied, and even that could be at the expense of your work, because if you wanted to return an email a week ago you wouldn't be able to find it.
Work part - time
Professor Robin Ely, author of various books and studies, says that not all the time employees spend on work is productive. It further states that it is a wrong idea to be standing in front of the computer for eight hours, just to justify the eight- Masters. So if you finish your work earlier than others does not mean that you work less than them.
Bad work table
According to a recent study conducted in California in 2016, people who are marked as messy, having an unscheduled work table, are even more productive. But that doesn't mean that you get to that point where you don't have any space available on your desk and get so far as to get your attention on such a fact.
Leaving Unfinished Jobs
According to data released by a productivity company, the DoneThis, about 41 percent of the jobs remain unfinished, and according to psychologist Art Markman, this is normal. Markman goes on to say that putting all the jobs you have to do on paper is one of the best and most efficient methods to memorize them, because the next day you won't have to check the e-mails of a few days ago to remember about the jobs you haven't yet completed, but just log out your orientation agenda.
Feeling Stressed Out
Most people, if not all, view stress as something to be avoided.
But according to psychologist Kelly McGonnigal, stress is good for you but to the level where you can manage it easily. It's not bad if you get stressed out for a certain project because you want that project to work out. It's not bad if you get stressed out about waiting for results on a particular project, which you hope will be positive. So stress, to some extent, is also a very good driver.
