Kosovo citizen from the Egyptian community had died 17 July at the Vojvodina District Hospital in Novi Sad, where he was recovering for several days.
Kosovo's liaison office in Serbia had said last week in unable to find relatives of Kerelj, his body was buried in the cemetery of unknown persons in Novi Sad.
But people who have recognised Kerelaj and who are committed to his return have said it is not true that Kerrelaj's body is buried in Serbia.
Kerrellaj's husband says the body of 41-year-olds was taken last night from Novi Sad Hospital and brought to Kosovo to bury him, KTV reports.
Damyan has claimed that all the body transport costs are covered by Kerrela's relatives.
The former delegation from the Egyptian community, Veton Berisha, also attended Kerrely's funeral.
He says bringing the state in relation to the body of his countrymen proves weakness in functioning institutions.
Kerrellaj's cousins have shown that he had gone to Serbia to work.
Police had failed to find close family members of Kerrey in Gjakova, until his distant cousins were identified in the village of Steupel, Kline.
