The head of the Social Democrat Initiative has said that Kosovo's budget should be directed at investments in agriculture, and in this direction they plan to invest 500m euros in agriculture within a four-year term, thus stimulating farmers.
“Social Democratism along with its partners is drafting the governing programme, where one of the main priorities will be empowering Kosovo farmers. We estimate that the form of grant sharing in agriculture should be changed, because as has been applied so far is not being adequately assisted by our farmers”, Limaj has written, among other things, on Facebook.
Furthermore, Limaj writes that in these two years of government, he has worked very hard to support local producers, small and medium-sized businesses, but has been dissatisfied with agriculture policies, for which he has openly expressed disappointment.

Strengthening Our Farmers, among the Initiative's top priorities
Honored citizens of Kosovo,
The Social Democrat Initiative will have one of the main investment priorities in agriculture.
The empowering of our farmers means opening up new jobs, increased economic growth, and greater security of the products we consume.
In these two years of government, we've been working our utmost to support local producers, small and medium-sized businesses, but we've been dissatisfied with the policies in agriculture, which I have openly expressed in my discontent with.
The Social Democrat initiative along with its partners is drafting the governing programme, where one of the main priorities will be empowering Kosovo farmers.
We estimate that the form of grant division in agriculture should be changed, because as has been applied so far is not being assisted enough by our farmers.
The Social Democrat Initiative estimates that investments in agriculture, through grants, should be significantly increased as a precondition for increasing the agriculture sector.
We estimate that Kosovo's budget should be directed at investments in agriculture, and in this direction we plan to invest over 500m euros in agriculture (in a four-year term), thus stimulating our farmers to grow traditional and new agricultural cultures.
