Kosovo has continued to mark the rise in the FIFA global rankings, as it now positions a higher place at 119th.
This means that the Northeast National has registered the highest rise in its history in the world ranking of the world's governing football body since accession to the U. EFA and FIFA in 2016.
“Meanwhile, Kosovo (in the 119th position, plus one point) has been rewarded for bold presentations in the qualifications for the 2020 European Championships, reaching the highest position in its history”, reads FIFA's page.

Kosovo now collects 1164 points, 15 points more than it has so far, thanks to the significant victory in the Euro 2020 qualifications against the Czech Republic (2-1) earlier this month in Pristina.
“Dardians”, located 120th before the publication of the last ranking, now leave Namibia, Angola and New Zealand behind.
Kosovo lost its next September qualifying match against Group A leader England (5-3) on the trip.
Next month, Kosovo will hold two more matches at home, one friendly against Gibraltar and a qualifying match for Euro 2020 against Montenegro.
If you achieve positive results from these two meetings, then Kosovo will score even higher raises in the FIFA rankings.
