The relevant working groups have already prepared drafts of the conclusions to be adopted in that case, but there is no key sentence in them, which would formulate the formal decision, writes Koha Ditore today.
The consultations between member states will have to be expected for this, because, especially for Albania, there is still a reluctance in some states.
In the draft prepared, Albania is praised for the work it has done in justice reforms. While underlining the need to continue active work in the fight against organised crime, drug trafficking and other negative phenomena, for which there is great concern in the EU, however, it is estimated Albania's readiness to show results and co-operate with the countries and with the services of the European Union.
Albania's activity to reduce the phenomenon of asylum demands of Albanian citizens in EU states is also known, but more is required to be done, because this phenomenon is creating concern in some member states.
