The elevator safety worker in use was kept

The Ministry of Trade and Industry in co-operation with the European Union-funded project “Free Movement of goods”, under the regulation implementation for the Security of Ashensors and Ashesors in use, has organised the one-day workshop on which topics are addressed: Current elevator safety rules and practices in Kosovo; The role and importance of elevator maintenance ISO 9001 standard presentation on improving the existing situation; and the main tasks to improve elevator maintenance in Kosovo.

The worker discussed topics that lead up to the 25,2018 Elevator Security in use that imposes economic operators (good workers) who perform elevator maintenance services to have training on standard SK requirements ISO 9001 Quality Management System.

Under this topic, Slovenian expert Ivan Bozic, engaged by the “Free Movement of Goods” project, introduced practices establishing the quality management system and implementation of the SK standard ISO 9001 to elevator maintenance service providers pointing to the benefits this standard offers in providing services to customers.

Certificate participants are elevator owners; maintenance; representatives from the Ministry of Public Administration, who are responsible for licenses in institutions; and representatives from the Labour Inspectorate.

Finally, the conclusions, such as meeting legal obligations from all parties of interest (contacts, inspection troops appointed by MTI, maintenance and elevator owners), were summed up to be safe in everyday life during elevator use, and the functioning of the electronic database (elevator records) and the urgent inclusion of municipal inspectors in law enforcement.
