CEC explains why there are as many voters

The Central Election Commission explains why the voter list corresponds to the number of residents.

CEC spokesman Valmir Elezi told the Online Economy that only resident residents are included in the census and the assessment of the population.

“on the voter list other than voters living in Kosovo also include voters living abroad, while only residents living within the country are included in the census and in the assessment, residents”, he said.

In the 6 October fair vote elections, there are 1 million and 972 thousand and 466 voters, while over 33 thousand have left the list.
