In the courtroom it has been declared innocent, saying the court will regret this action.
Bonila has been found guilty because she has illegally bought ornaments worth $779 thousand during her husband's four-year term, Porphih Lob.
At the court hearing it is said to have used the money for buying jewelry, paid after checks at various beauty centres, as well as for her children's schooling.
We remember that Bonilla was arrested in February of last year, following a several-month investigation due to the <x0-edge” of the public fund, including the one for buying clothes for the poor children of Honduras.
Her personal assistant Saul Escobar, who has been sentenced to 48 years in prison, has also ended in handcuffs.
