The Mexican star was involved in a duel with Antonio Bresino, with the latter brutally hitting the attacker on his knee, Periscope reports.
Dos Santos had just returned from injury until this injury is expected to leave him out even longer.
It is even being reportedly heavy enough to complete its career prematurely.
It is said that he was immediately taken to the hospital for further treatment.
