Kevin Hart was hospitalised after his vehicle crashed into the hill just south of Calabasa.

According to the ABC7, the crash occurred about 12:45 a.m. near the Mulholland Highway and the Kanion Cold Road. Hart was one of two passengers in the car when the driver lost control.

Hart suffered serious back injuries and was being treated at Northridge Hospital, although injuries do not seem to be life threatening. The driver of the vehicle was also admitted to the hospital, and the third passenger was injured, but did not go to the hospital.

California Highway patrol confirmed for ABC7 that there was no indication that drugs or alcohol were involved, even though the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
