Zaev said institutions and the country will come out victorious from this case and that it has been proven that the executive has created the possibility of justice bodies working independently.
Anyone who violates the law will respond to justice organs. In the Council meeting, we have reaffirmed all decisions, statements of uncompetitive fight against crime, and I am proud that as executive power we have enabled the justice system to be independent. Northern Macedonia is changing and no one is putting pressure on judges and prosecutors anymore. I am convinced that we will win”, Zaev declared after the LSDM Central Council meeting.
The prime minister has said that following Katica Janva's arrest as suspected in the case of “Reket”, the Council of Prosecutors must choose a Special Prosecutorial Task Officer to continue working on judicial subjects.
Zaev also stressed the need for approval of the Public Prosecution Law as soon as possible. /Alsat/
