Wessel has visited the organisation “Day”, the beneficiary of the Ministry of Culture grants, where about 50 women and girls produce traditional clothing.
He has said that from fighting corruption and abuse, funds have been saved that have enabled the support of this organisation, which now makes a double contribution for the good of society.
This is his full status:
“Preservation, cultivation and promotion of our rich cultural heritage is a priority for us. In the organisation “Day”, the beneficiary of grants from the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, artisanial work never stops. About 50 girls and women are trained and committed to producing traditional clothing, thus providing income from a particular segment that meets the needs of our society.
From fighting corruption and misuse, funds have been saved that have enabled the support of this organisation, which now makes a double contribution for the good of society.
This precious heritage of our people is not only to be preserved and conveyed throughout generations but the case of these girls and women proves that it can also serve as a very important developmental value.
By fighting corruption, we will save even more funds and provide more support to such activities as the organisation “Day”, providing more opportunities and space for young people in general and for girls in particular”, Veselin wrote.
