Speaking at the end of the G7 summit in France, Trump openly praised Johnson, who took power last month, and said he should try to do something with Brex, a task his predecessor Theresa May had failed to do.
In particular, she failed to reach an agreement through Parliament three times and then withdrew from power and its party.
Trump noted that it would not be easy and that “is very difficult to reach an agreement with the EU”.
“just ask Teresa May”, he said.
