Nuclear flow occurred in 2017 and was recorded by scientists in several European countries.

No nation or organization has claimed responsibility for the leak, which, though massive, is believed to have hurt anyone.

The new study has used more than 1300 metres to track the potential source of flow, which is the Ural region in Russia, where the Mayajk nuclear complex is located.

In October 2017, a massive cloud of nuclear radiation circulated across Europe, releasing between 30 and 100 times more radioactivity than Fukushima's 2011 accident. The source of that leak remains a mystery, writes Periscope, since no nation or organization claimed responsibility.

But now a study claims to have found him at the Mayak nuclear complex in southern Russia.

The first nuclear flow was recorded on October 2, 2017, when a team of Italian scientists recorded unusual high levels of radioactive isotopes called ruthhenium-106 over the beautiful city of Milan.

A few hours later, scientists in the Czech Republic, Norway, Austria, and in five other European countries sounded the alarm after detecting the same levels of rutchenium-106.

It became clear that a nuclear accident had occurred somewhere in Eurasia.

Fortunately, the radiation released was not dangerous for people. The Institute for Radiological Protection and Nuclear Security wrote in 2017 that “the concentration of rutchenium-106 levels in the air that were registered in Europe and specifically in France had no consequences for people's health and the environment,” but added that the situation could be dangerous near the site of the accident.

Rosatomy has denied findings made by the latest study that makes him responsible for it. /Periscope
