The Kosovo Democratic Institute has unveiled the findings of research on the transparency of European capitals, where Pristina is one of the capitals for transparency. Research shows that the capitals of European Union member states offer citizens more access to information, but that Eastern and Southeast European countries place more emphasis on transparency than on democracy countries. In KDI it was said this was done as an attempt to address deeper corruption through transparent policies.

Diana Metushi-Krasnici from KDI, during the report's presentation, at a news conference said 27 European capitals have been measured.

While only five capitals publish the wealth statements of members of the municipal assembly, on websites, among them is the Pristina Community where these information can be found on the Pristina platform online... This research also shows that 22 capitals have published hearing verbal processes, at the top of the list is Amsterdam with a clear and friendly archive system for citizens. As for publishing individual polling notes, only 11 capitals do so, and because of the legal stops we still have in Kosovo, Pristina is not among those who publish each MP's individual elections in the 48x1> municipal assembly, she said.

She made it known that a concern has been raised regarding the lobby registry, where research has found that many states, between them and Kosovo, do not have laws that regulate the lobby.

“A concern has been raised over the lobby registry where only one, Madrid, out of 26 mature capitals, publishes it. This research has found that many countries, among them and Kosovo, do not have laws that regulate the issue of lobe. However, Pristina's code of conduct has been praised in the report compiled by Transparency International Slovakia on how it is published, how it is summed up and published in three foreign, Albanian, Serbian and English languages,”, she said.

In turn, she said only 12 of the 26 discreet capitals have turned positive answers to the demand for access to public documents concerning the pay of the speaker and assemblyists.

The “provisional information project in European capitals” has been led by Transparency International Slovakia.
