Pacolli: Always ready for dialogue, but Serbia is provoking incidents

Acting Foreign Affairs Minister Behgjet Pacolli has reacted after the statement of Quinti countries, which have called for continuing dialogue with Serbia, saying Kosovo has always been committed to continuing the process. Kosovo's “foreign policy has always been co-ordinated and in line with [...] position.
Kosovo's “foreign policy has always been co-ordinated and in line with the position of our strategic partners, the United States, Germany, France, the United Kingdom and Italy since the early 1990s. Our citizenship is based on our Western orientation and we welcome the commitment shown by all Quint countries together for normalising relations between Kosovo and Serbia. Kosovo has always been committed to continue dialogue and we have been willing to resume negotiations, but it was Serbia that left its chair empty and provoked incidents and aggression against Kosovo consistently”, Pacolli writes on Facebook.
He has also commented on Marko Djuriqi's statement, which has come up against the states of Quinn. According to Pacolli, this statement testifies to Serbia's lack of will for normalising relations with Kosovo.
Marko Djuriqi's “Declaration today testifies once again to Serbia's lack of will for normalising relations with Kosovo. Kosovo has fought for two years an unprecedented diplomatic battle with Belgrade that the filthy Serbian diplomacy has been aiming to undermine Kosovo's citizenship internationally. Tarifa has been Kosovo's sovereign instrument to react to this Belgrade-led aggression, and today Serbia still does not show the will to end it. We are ready as always for dialogue, but conditions are clear as two independent and sovereign states aimed at mutual recognition and establishing diplomatic relations”, Pacolli says.
Quinti's countries today called on Pristina and Belgrade to resume dialogue as soon as possible and stressed that Pristina must lift tariffs and Belgrade should suspend its campaign to attract recognition of Kosovo's independence.
