Modric's reaction to red card shows why he's a big player

The Croatian star in the 56th minute was punished with red card after the VAR revised his intervention to Denis Suarez.

Modric, after the match, said he had in no way intended to hurt his opponent and that intervention was unintentional.

“Never in life would I make such an intervention for a player, it was involuntary” Modric said.
