Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Cameron Gashi, through two letters signed today to the head of the Pristina municipality Shpend Ahmeti, has asked him to secure two locations -- one for the September deployment of the Kosovar Football League “Fadil Vokrri” and the other for the establishment of the statue for world-renowned champion Majlinda Kelmendi.
In this case, Minister Gashi said that “I have asked the head of the Pristina municipality Shpend Ahmeti to become the division of a suitable location near “Fadil Vokri” to establish the September of the Kosovo football legend Fadil Vokri”.
“In gratitude for the years-made contribution to the sports field, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports has decided to build September for the late Kosovo football legend Fadil Vokrri”.
Gashi also demanded that a suitable location be divided for the deployment of the statue of Majlinda Kelmendi.
He said that “taking into account the successes of the world-renowned jungle and Golden Medal winner at the Olympic Games, as well as the winner of many international championships and races, the Judo World Federation has decided to honour it with the establishment of a statue in the capital of the Republic of Kosovo in Pristina”. /Periscope. com/
