The leader of the civic initiative SDP in Kosovo, Oliver Ivanovic, was killed on the morning of January 11th of 2018 in northern Mitrovica.

Although it was reported in the media that international arrest warrants have already been issued, accepting the request for international warrants of arrest against Milan Radojqic has personally denied the implementation authority in this case, Kosovo Police, respectively.

Also, sources of the “Justice Vow” within UNMIK, as a competent body to introduce into the Interpol system, the international warrants for the Republic of Kosovo, have said they have never accepted a request by Kosovo authorities for issuing the international warrant against Radojcic.

In a response to “Justice Vow”, Kosovo police say such a request has not yet been accepted in the Kosovo Police.

With your request to address the case in question, please address competent authority, as we announce to you that the competent KK Directorate by this date has not accepted the request for issuing the international warrant from the Constitutional Court in Pristina, to the person in question”, the Kosovo Police Information Office says in response.

But even though Kosovo Police have said this institution has rejected the request for international hotlines, Constitutional Court officials in Pristina, in response to “The Battle for Justice”, have said that on July 3rd, 2019, the judge of the preliminary procedure has issued a letter of central alignment and has submitted a request for the release of the international warrant to the Ministry of Justice.

With the appointment of this PRPR court. CR.n.362/18 of the 18th,01.2019 arrest warrants have been issued against M.R. defendants. By the date 03.07.2019, the trial of the preliminary procedure has submitted requests to the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kosovo for ordering the central and international paper against defendants in question”, the spokeswoman at the Constitutional Court in Pristina said.

The “Justice Vow”, on August 2nd, 2019, has applied for information even in the Ministry of Justice how this institution has acted in connection with the prosecution of this case, but even though it has spent over 10 days on this request the Ministry of Justice has yet to respond.

By order of the PSRK, Kosovo Police, namely, the Directorate for Investigation of the Randa Crimes, as well as in support of other special police units, on November 23rd 2018, have carried out an action in northern Mitrovica, where four suspected persons are involved in the murder of SDP leader in Kosovo, Oliver Ivanovic. During this action, Kosovo Police were also searching for suspects Milan Radojqiq, who had not been found at his site.

Four suspects arrested during last November 23rd action are being held in custody under the Constitutional Court's decision in Pristina.

The head of the civic initiative SDP in Kosovo, Oliver Ivanovic, was killed on the morning of January 11th of this year in northern Mitrovica.

Initially, this subject was being investigated by two founding prosecutorial prosecutors in Mitrovica, but later this subject was sent to P. SRK.

A month after Ivanovic's assassination, Kosovo Police at the order of the Basic Prosecutor in Mitrovica had arrested Zarko Jankovic and Dragica Markovic as suspected of <x0manipulation with evidence” in this case.

Two police officers, Zarko Jankovic and Dragica Markovic, have allegedly removed a shell from the site of the event, where Oliver Ivanovic was killed and the same have not delivered along with other evidence.

So Jankovic and Markovic, the Constitutional Prosecutor in Mitrovica, had applied for the detention assignment.

But that requirement was rejected by the Constitutional Court of Mitrovica, which the Court of Appeals had confirmed, leaving the two suspects at large in the case.

Otherwise, Milan Radojcic had met at the office of Prime Minister Haradinaj, and political party leaders have repeatedly made mutual accusations among themselves about their ties with Radojcic.
