The former head of the Kosovo Economic Ode, Safet Gerjaliu, in 2019 is naming it a year of economic failures.
According to him, the 1920s-2019 are the most fatal years for the economy.
Gerjaliu in an interview for Online Economics has mentioned several indicators showing the current economic situation in the country, broadcasting the Kosovo Clan.
“Viti 2019 has been together with 2018, the most fatal years for economic development. You see what trend foreign direct investments are, what trends and the level is the image of Kosovo”.
Gerxhaliu said the low unemployment rate, the decline in investments, the removal of young people have brought Kosovo to a critical point.
There are many reasons to call it a year of economic failures rather than a year's economy, the very fact that we have this unemployment rate, we have a decline in foreign investments, the very fact that we have an escape from Kosovo, and with the very fact that Kosovo's image is at the most critical since post-war, I believe are the best arguments that testify to how harmful this government has been, and how much has been a utopic phrase that phrase called the year of economic development”
It has also listed the failures of Haradinaj government.
The “in the first order should be understood that the interest of political parties and specific groups can never be established on state interests. This government is marked by far more time loss to find measures for repopulation than for economic development. They used the tax on Serbia as a popular mechanism but I believe that the effects of this tax are multidimensional in the negative context for Kosovo”.
And speaking of the tax imposed on Serbian products, Gerjaliu says there is an economic increase of imports, but has mentioned the citizen, who says he is directly affected by this tax.
“In the first place, there are the measuring indicators of the effects of this tax and the two main pillars measuring the effects is whether we have increased exports and whether we have a decrease in imports from abroad and what happens in Kosovo is that we have the enzyme growth of imports and almost the same level of exports, in the second order such measures generate inflation directly affecting citizens and the private sector, above all, is a measure that motivates and strengthens Serbia's grey or criminalised economy, and when all of this is lost political aspect of the sponsorship of the European countries and the United States, and that Kosovo is the greatest damage that has been done to you that it has become a criminal.
The recogniser of economic circumstances, Safet Gerjaliu, accuses Government of affecting state reserves without need and has distributed money without criteria.
Praise has led to the Priory Government.
The preliminary government characterises a genuine public-private dialogue, a partnership with Brussels and Washington, but also with the countries of the region, above all, characterises a financial discipline which has unfortunately not been carried in this government. Today, state reserves are violated, distributed without criteria, based on meritocracy alone, today lack institutional and individual responsibility, if these are positive virtues then let me enjoy this government”.
“In Kosovo no longer hears the recommendations of the Independence and International Friends' sponsors, and in this direction we are losing even the support we have received from them because of a population which unfortunately has a three-year-old horseing trip with Montenegro, and this avaz will continue further, but it should be very challenging for the future government because the problems accumulated in this mandate will be difficult to resolve how much a government mandate will go with these big government decisions that are from the future of Kosovo and its citizens will be returned to Kosovo to stay in the next state, not to stay the ground.
He says that Kosovo should be focused on education, it should have the economic target, but, above all, based on rule of the rule of order and law.
And since in one state we have anarchy and we have no rule of law and institutional and individual responsibility, we will promise, but the realisation of it will only be a wish that will not be realized, if Kosovo really thought to build the future should be focused on education, it should have an economic target, but, above all, based on rule of the order and the law, otherwise it will be repeated to us an unwanted destiny where the real social aspect of it will be a planted bomb that will not do anything to honor its end<1F>
