The first death caused by electronic cigarette

A patient lost his life after fighting lung disease, which was caused by the consumption of electronic cigarettes.

The event took place in Illinois, the United States and was registered as the first death of its kind.

The state health agency of Illinois chose not to show too much detail. They said that the patient whose identity is unknown was between the ages of 17 and 38.

Often it has been warned that using electronic cigarettes causes serious lung problems.

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said that nearly 200 people are ill by electronic cigarettes throughout the country.

“We are sad to hear of the first death associated with the severe lung disease from electronic cigarettes, known as ♫vaping”.

This tragic death in Illinois strengthens the serious dangers associated with electronic cigarette products.

They expose users to many different substances, of which we have little information”, said centre director Robert Redfield.

He added that such equipment is not safe for children, young people, pregnant women, or even adults who do not normally use tobacco products.
