Liverpool's centre guard won a fortune of 305 points, leaving Lionel Messin behind with 207 and Cristiano Ronaldon with 74, airs Periscopi.
Van Dijk won the award after an extraordinary campaign with Liverpool, when the triufmoi at the League Champions and ended in second place at Premier League.
The Dutchman is undoubtedly the best defender on the globe currently, but some fans believe Messy had to win the prize.
If we speak individually, there was no better than 32-year-old edition than the last edition, when it achieved 51 goals and contributed 19 assets in all races.
However, the idea that Van Dijk a defender is actually a better football player than Mess is not well received by some people.
