Belgrade in autumn will launch diplomatic action in the United States to present to the public and officials a true view of the situation in Kosovo.
According to “Vecernje Novosti” “at the US Congress, a public hearing or discussion will be organised, in which representatives of the Serbian Parliament will talk about the history of the war in Kosovo” but also the “killings of Serbs”.
This Serbian daily writes that “would be an opportunity to present new evidence against outgoing Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, who can turn him into the ornament of indictee”.
Serbia's Deputy Parliament Speaker Vladimir Marinkovovic is reportedly working on preparing this event in co-operation with the representative of the Serb group in Congress, Steve Steve Steveers, broadcasts Klan Kosova.
Among the speakers at the Capitol Hill reportedly will be the chairman of the so-called Parliamentary Commission for Kosovo, Milovan Drescu, “, who is working intensively to collect evidence against Haradinaj”.
Marinkovic told Novosti that this would be an opportunity for some of the American politicians to hear for the first time what really happened in Kosovo from 1998 to 2000, but also later.
“They will see evidence available to the Parliamentary Commission Task Group for Kosovo, as well as the report on human organs trafficking by Dick Marty, a former European Council rapporteur”, Marinkovic says.
According to him, there will also be a kind of “counterattack” of what Congressman and lobbyist Eliot Engel organised in late April, when former President Atifete Jahjaga spoke to 20 thousand women raped during the war in Kosovo.
